ENGLAND BETTING ANALYSIS
England boast a 100% record across Group B so far, but have not yet confirmed their place in the last four. They could still finish in third-place should West Indies beat them badly enough that England’s net-run-rate drops below that of both the Windies and South Africa. But that’s unlikely when taking into account the form of Danni Wyatt-Hodge. It’s now 135 runs across three innings for the experienced opener following her 51 not out against Scotland. WEST INDIES BETTING ANALYSIS
West Indies know that only a win will do for them and they won’t be afraid to attack the England bowlers. One player who is notorious for her batting power is Deandra Dottin, who currently boasts the highest strike-rate of any player across the tournament, at 181.81 in three innings. She has also struck comfortably the highest number of sixes, clearing the ropes on four occasions. Backing Dottin to hit over 0.5 match sixes in this game is a play worth making.
ENGLAND VS WEST INDIES EXPERT PREDICTION
You can certainly never write off the West Indies and in what is effectively a quarter-final for them, expect a big performance from Hayley Matthew’s side. But this England team has already beaten one formidable opponent in South Africa and it’s hard to look past them defeating another one here. They are playing excellent cricket across the board with their top order in fine form and the bowling attack covering all bases. Backing England to win represents the sensible move.
