HOBART HURRICANES WOMEN VS SYDNEY THUNDER WOMEN EXPERT PREDICTION
The Hurricanes will be hoping to make a winning start in home soil to kick off this year’s WBBL and they have assembled a strong team. Last season, they failed to make the top four but they have signed some big name players who they will be hoping make an impact. Chloe Tryon and Suzie Bates join from the Sixers and Danni Wyatt-Hodge comes from the Scorchers to bolster their team although they did lose Shabnim Ismail to their opponents here.
The fiery speedster will be looking to get one over her former club and she lines up with the Thunder. The Sydney-based club lost in the eliminator last year and they will be keen to make it to the knockout stage once again. There is some concern over the fitness of key player Heather Knight after she picked up an injury in the World Cup for England so it remains to be seen whether she is available.
We like the Hurricanes to get off to a winning start here. They have a strong batting line-up especially that can overpower the Thunder and get the win.
