Victory here for Worcestershire Rapids would be enough to secure a quarter-final spot should Lancashire Lightning beat Yorkshire Vikings later in the evening. Durham though, have struggled for a consistent period of time and are likely now to have thrown all their focus into County Championship promotion. Worcestershire’s home form is very good in this season’s T20 Blast and with confidence high among their squad, they are well worth backing to gain the two points.

NOTTS OUTLAWS vs BIRMINGHAM BEARS
THE PREDICTION
Birmingham Bears should still gain a home quarter-final even if they were to lose their final two North Group fixtures with a four-point cushion at the top of the table, combined with an excellent net-run-rate. But without the services of Sam Hain, their batting is weakened and a tough travel schedule also needs to be factored into their potential performance here, having endured a long trip to Chelmsford during the week in the County Championship. Notts Outlaws are desperate for victory, with their place in the top four far from secure. The specialist T20 players at their disposal are used to these pressure matches in the business end of the competition and at Trent Bridge, backing the Outlaws to take down the Bears may prove a smart move.

DERBYSHIRE FALCONS vs LEICESTERSHIRE FOXES
THE PREDICTION
Leicestershire Foxes are another team who are likely to put all their eggs into the County Championship basket now, with them currently second-place in Division Two. It’s been a miserable T20 Blast campaign for the Foxes, suffering eight losses from 12 games and Derbyshire Falcons will be confidence of taking advantage of their opponents’ struggles and need to if they are to have any hope of reaching the knockout stage. Expect the hosts to ultimately come out on top in this one.

LANCASHIRE LIGHTNING vs YORKSHIRE VIKINGS
THE PREDICTION
The War of the Roses recommences at Emirates Old Trafford and Lancashire Lightning will be desperate for revenge after losing in surprisingly fashion at Headingley. Yorkshire Vikings need to win as they currently sit fifth-place in the North Group with one point separating them from the top four. But Lancashire Lightning remain the strongest home side in the competition, have winning all their group fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford so far this season. With the quality among their ranks, it’s hard to see that changing here and with a huge crowd in attendance, back Lancashire Lightning to get the better of their bitter rivals.
