TEXAS SUPER KINGS FORM: FRUSTRATING ABANDONMENTS
The Texas Super Kings began this season poorly and they have won just one of their opening four matches. However, the extremely frustrating thing for TSK would be they have had two games without a result with the first of those seeing them post over 200 before the rain came. They have an experienced side and will need to put a run together from here on.

MI NEW YORK FORM: RECOVERING FROM A SETBACK
The champions of the inaugural Major League Cricket season last year, MI New York come into this one on the back of a shock four-run DLS defeat to the Washington Freedom before an abandonment against TSK. In that loss, though, the Freedom reached 55-1 in 7.4 overs before rain intervened and put them marginally ahead of the rate – so MI New York will not concern themselves too much.

TEXAS SUPER KINGS BETTING ANALYSIS
As mentioned, TSK have a very experienced side and that is shown best with the opening partnership of Faf du Plessis and Devon Conway. The former started the campaign quite slowly but has since grown into it and has turned himself into a major player across T20 cricket so Du Plessis to be TSK’s top batter once again would remain the best bet.
With the ball, TSK are quite weak and none of their players have taken more than two wickets thus far. On paper, though, there is a standout name that should always be the one to be leaned upon for looking a who will be their best bowler and that is Afghanistan’s Naveen-ul-Haq.
MI NEW YORK BETTING ANALYSIS
MI New York won the tournament last year with West Indian batter Nicholas Pooran being the competition’s top run scorer and he has, once again, proven himself to be pivotal so far, top scoring in both of MI New York’s played matches to the point. Backing Pooran to score 30 or more runs is always the way to go for them.
With the ball, MI New York are so strong because of the strength of their bowling attack. With Trent Boult, Rashid Khan and Anrich Nortje, as well as Ehsan Adli and Nosthush Kenjige, they are extremely potent. It is likely that Rashid Khan is their best bowler in the match with the pacemen of Boult, Adli and Nortje perhaps blunted by the experience of TSK’s top order.
TEXAS SUPER KINGS VS MI NEW YORK EXPERT PREDICTION
The Texas Super Kings have an opportunity to really lay down a marker at the Grand Prairie Stadium but it simply has to be said that the Texans have less about them, both with bat and ball, than the champions. The odds of MI New York winning may have been boosted by their surprise, albeit unfortunate and half-the-story defeat to Washington Freedom last week so there is value in siding with MI New York.
