THE PREDICTION

Jaffna Kings made it three successive wins in the Lanka Premier League thanks to an impressive victory over Colombo Stars. The Kings posted 207/6 from a reduced 18 overs and then ripped through the Stars’ batting line-up with Wahab Riaz and Wanindu Hasaranga taking four wickets apiece in the 93-run success. They will now look to extend their winning streak as they take on struggling Kandy Warriors who have managed just one win from their four games so far. That did come last time out against Galle Gladiators so they will at least take some confidence from that contest but owing to the consistency of the Kings and with their quality with the bat continuing to impress, Jaffna have to be favoured in this clash.
