Australia kept this four-Test series against India alive going into this final match, showing their dogged determination and a never give up mentality on a spinner’s paradise at Indore. Nathan Lyon showed his class by taking eight wickets, whilst Matthew Kuhnemann recorded a ‘fifer’ as the Australians bowled India out for 109 and 163 respectively, before chasing down a fourth innings victory target of 76 for the loss of just one wicket. Steve Smith deputised as Australia skipper in the absence of Pat Cummins and will do so again here in Ahmedabad.
Both teams are capable of taking 20 wickets when taking into account the bowlers (spinners in particular) at their disposal.
