THE PREDICTION
Khyber Pakhtunkwa missed the chance to draw level on points with Central Punjab after falling to a six-wicket defeat against Balochistan. They face Sindh, a side who they have already beaten in this year’s National T20 Cup. The inconsistency of Sarfaraz Ahmed’s side has proven their biggest problem over the course of the competition so far, however, they will fancy themselves to exact some revenge on Khyber Pakhtunkwa. The reigning champions will be without key left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Afridi, who has left his team’s bio secure bubble to spend time with his family ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup. The absence of a player the quality of Shaheen is a hammer blow for Khyber Pakhtunkwa this may prove a decisive factor in this one, with the Sindh batters expected to capitalise on facing a weakened bowling attack. They will need to bowl well themselves against the likes of Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman, but a Sindh win is to be favoured here.
