Whether it’s the women’s or men’s game, the cricketing world stands still when India and Pakistan collide. This will be no different with both teams coming off the back of defeats to Australia and Barbados respectively. Harmanpreet Kaur’s side can take plenty of heart from that match despite Australia’s late lower order rally, which ultimately saw them get over the line. Provided the India players can replicate the high-performance levels they showed on Friday here against Pakistan, then the expectation is that India will gain their first group stage victory in this game.
