Sevilla vs Man Utd Europa League Preview
Sevilla hosts Manchester United at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on Thursday 20th March for an exciting battle to make it to the Europa League semi-finals of this season's competition. The second leg of this fixture kicks off at 8pm BST with United looking to make up for letting a go of a 2-0 in Manchester last Thursday.
Although currently sitting in 13th place in La Liga this season, Sevilla are indeed the most successful team ever in the Europa League competition having won it a total of 6 times, the first being in 2006.
Although drawing 2-2 in the first leg, Sevilla were dominated by Manchester United and they are still very much favourites to win the tie. The Man Utd squad has been hit heavily with injuries to many first team players in recent weeks with the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia and Alejandro Garnacho set to miss out. Manchester United are also without star player Bruno Fernandes, missing out due to a suspension.
Sevilla are also missing right back Gonzalo Montiel, again due to suspension leaving 1 out of the 4 world cup winners who played in last week's fixture left with Marcos Acuna fit for action.
