• Cucine Lube Civitanova absolutely stormed through Pool A of the FIVB Club World Championship’s as they won every single game, including their 3-0 domination of Fakel Novy Urengoy last time out.
• The four-time Italian champions are only taking part in the competition for the second time ever, having lost in the final last year to Russia’s Rubin Kazan - who Lube happened to beat in the group stages this year.

• The six-times Polish champions are playing in their very first World Championships this year, but have twice been runners-up in the European Champions League, in 1973 and 2015.
• 25-year-old Frenchman Thibault Rossard leads Resovia in scoring with 41, having won the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World League with France.

THE PREDICTION

Cucine Lube Civitanova have faced Asseco Resovia on five separate occasions, and the Italian side have never lost.
