Geelong Cats could not shake off their poor end to the regular season as they suffered a third defeat in four matches with Port Adelaide getting the better of them in their first clash of the finals. They get a second crack here but face a tough task against GWS Giants who come into this with four straight wins under their belt. They edged Sydney Swans in a thriller with the Giants prevailing by just a solitary point but they showed their mettle to get the job done and with the confidence gained from that success, they can upset the odds once again and look a superb selection with a +16.5 start, especially as they have won their last three clashes against Geelong.
