THE PREDICTION
Essendon’s poor run of form continued as they suffered a fourth loss in their last five matches. They were edged by GWS Giants in a high-scoring affair last week but it was ultimately their defensive woes that cost them, conceding over 100 points for the third consecutive match when losing. They now take on a Fremantle side with back-to-back losses to their name after going down to Brisbane Lions last week. However, the Dockers have been the more consistent team of the two so far this campaign and they can take advantage of the Bombers’ defensive issues to come out on top here.
